Hex and heavy hex couplers are threaded right hand. A sleeve nut is recommended, when a right hand-left hand coupler is needed. For making long time rod assemblies from shorter length rods, Incoloy Hex Coupling Nuts are used. To facilitate assembly of two fasteners or fittings which each nut has external threads.
