Hastelloy bolts, nuts, washers & screws are most efficient under elevated temperatures and corrosive environments, with high stress resistance. Hastelloy is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium wrought alloy which has excellent corrosion resistance to both oxidizing and decreasing media; also Hastelloy alloys are very resistant to pitting and stress-corrosion cracking.
